In one edition of the book, "The Church Records of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Orangeburg, South Carolina, and "The Red Church," by Anne Martin Haigler, Andrew Sellers was listed as still alive as of February 1814.

In another edition of the book, he was listed as dead by 1813. I do not know which of these dates is correct.

There is only this book that provides proof for Andrew, his wives and his children.

There are a few land records left from the time period that help to place Andrew in the Orangeburg area.

He appeared on the 1790 Census along with the older John Sellers (1718-1800) in the Orangeburg District; however, he does NOT appear on the 1800 Census.

Strangely enough, living in the same area in 1800 was a David Sellers.

Andrew reappeared on the 1810 Census.

By the time of the next census in 1820, Andrew's son, John J. has already migrated to Mississippi.
